"This was a really interesting mix of familiar superhero/fantasy themes, so there are flavours of X Men, Harry Potter, possibly even Buffy, but the writing style is so fresh, conversational and quintessentially British that it almost feels like its own genre.

Fast paced, the action develops in the first pages, it certainly left me ready to try the next book in the series."
